Day 3 AND 4: Painted Shoes

Well, a day late, awesome. It had to happen some time or another. Won't be the last, probably. Oh well. To the art!

For day 3 and 4 (I swear I did work on this a bit on day 3) we have this little painted shoe. It's the left half of a commission I am doing for one of my friends. I am using acrylic paints mixed with fabric medium and the shoes themselves are Chuck Taylors. You can click the picture to make it bigger to see all the detail. More shoe-yness will come in the future.

About the Blog

I have a a hard time getting motivated to art some days, so I decided to start a Project 365 of my own, and it's goal is to create something every day. I am going to leave the definition of "create" open, knowing myself, but I will make my best efforts to fulfill it.

I can draw, paint, do digital art, create mixed media pieces, crochet, and I am learning to sew. All of these things and more may be included as my daily entry. As I go I will have to make up days that I miss, or maybe even create things ahead of schedule when I know I am going to be busy. Normally however I will try not to count two things I create in one day as two days, though I might post them both if I like them.

That's pretty much the rules. If this blog inspires you to start a project 365 of your own, of any type, please link it to me and I will try to talk about it here. This project 365 will run from January 1, 2011-December 31, 2011. See you then!
